So will the new induction layer increase induction efficiency further? Impressive if so. I already find it to be very efficient. Very little heat up time considering the heat capacity of the balls.
If you own a TA and a Revolve V2, then you sort of have a Tempest by Proxy. However I would add that the adjustable airflow on the Tempest tip is game changing imo. It drastically changes the experience depending on how you are using it. If I was you I would at least pick up a Tempest tip just...
I clean my tip/balls every time I clean my bowl now. About twice a week. It takes no extra effort. I used the device for months before cleaning the balls and couldn't notice deleterious effects, but makes sense to keep on top of now, since it's no bother. If it was an irksome process to clean...
I notice I often blow in the device a little bit while brining it to my lips. Can see a small puff of vapour go out through the cap. This probably contributes to balls being dirty. Even so I find I can go a long time without cleaning. However I clean the cap often now since realising how easy it...
Glad you are back mate. Hope you are recovering well. I've had COVID since 26th. Coughing my lungs up still. So have not used the Tempest for ages. Reading the thread makes me miss it!
I would buy it. I'm loving the half bowl setting ATM for perfect DTL single hits. But I would rock a bigger bowl sometimes for joint puffs. Why not.
I'm not desperately waiting for it though. I'm satisfied as hell with the performance with the two bowl sizes.
You ought to make more to sell to us. I'm sure you would get quite a few buyers once Tempest is in full swing. Anyone who has used it knows it's going to achieve a large user base. Great vape to produce third party products for.
Close, Bloodwood not Purpleheart. Thanks, I love them both. I use the Cherrywood Nova and Roadie for outdoors use. Hiking/camping etc. The other one I use indoors. This way I always have one clean and ready to go if I'm heading out somewhere.
I would heavily recommend the roadie to people. The...
I've tried with triple flame, but I get significantly better results with single flame (1inch, mid sized torch) aimed down the intake, angled downwards. I remove carb plug and cover with finger, as this works perfectly with single flame.
I can see myself with a wood Tempest stem collection in the future if you keep releasing different woods. Beautiful work Brenyo. Love the ergonomics on them.
Nova is my favourite of the brick vapes. I like SB Runt for micro hits also. I've come to realize I like to kill the bowl in a single hit with these vapes, so I pack accordingly.
Max bowl capacity and optimal capacity are different on lots of vapes. Same for desktop ball vapes, they can vape 0.5g bowls but most people pack it half full.
If you are determined to fill the bowl to capacity then you either except that's a lot of terps to smack you in the face through a...
I have the old green O-ring for the shield. It's not ISO safe, however I never have any of these issues. So I don't know if there is a difference, or if mine is similar but I don't notice. My Tempest feels perfect. I would be curious if my O-ring and the new ones are different somehow. But then...
It's just like that. My other vapes are supplementary now. It's made me appreciate brick butane vapes more as I get the enjoyment of technique mastery, and some sessions are great, some not so great.
Tempest holds it down for an efficient, elegant, repeatable experience though. I would...
I had a second set of wand batteries in an online shopping cart. Decided against it. I realize that my other vapes barely get a chance when I have wand power. I quite like having a reason to put the Tempest down now and again. Otherwise Tempest would dominate to the point I start thinking of...
