I’m sorry you got the odd defective Forge. I love mine, quiet and problem free. In fact I haven’t been using my Tornado much because I would rather use the Forge than flame.
I set mine on the top of a tripod then I slowly walk around it while positioning the flame, no unscrewing this way.
Actually I have never rotated mine, except when it has rolled off the table. I’ve never had uneven roast even back in my pre-Forge days.
DM @HughJundys , I think he is from Vegas. Sin City is only 175 miles away from me, but I basically hate it, so it’s been 7 years since I’ve been there.
You are correct in assuming that you are wrong. I rarely use my Anvil without water, however I enjoy the Tornado without water while using the OG stem.
In my expert opinion, I think the problem with iso soaking the clickers is that the iso can stay between the discs, and ignite when exposed to flame. After I iso soak an oven, I get it very hot with a heat gun which should evaporate off the iso. I will then assemble it and heat it to clicking...

If I were doing this I would use a cut-off disc in a Dremel. A small grinding burr in the Dremel could be used to de-burr the internal and external cut edges.
I just tried the all original parts V1 Anvil stem (short mouth piece) and with the Tornado oven first it fits the Utility case with the extended cap. I think the balance is off though. The outside magnet on the extended cap works, but the recess for the magnet is 0.05” smaller than the outside...
You know that the head and oven on the Tornado are wider than even the Thermocore? This is also longer than the Anvil with the XL stem. While I can put the Tornado oven first into the Utility tube, it is still much too long. My Thermocore is a tight fit in the extended cap of the Utility tube...
I spent most of 5 months not vaping because of a bad cough that wouldn’t go away. In March I was diagnosed with Asthma. I was put on an inhaler and after a few weeks I resumed vaping. My new vape routine was only the small bowl in the USA (original oven), using a glass water pipe. This kept my...
