So these quartz vapes with the coil. I suppose the idea is they differ to typical ball vapes in that they provide a more session orientated experience? They seem different. I'm just not sure about all the ways it is different. But very interesting. I suppose they give more conduction also?

Yeah I admit my experience of thr OG was utterly terrible. But almost all of that poor experience was the awful CU. I'm only interested in trying the new model because the CU has been thrown out completely which gives me faith in the designer.

Yeah I'm lacking a conduction vape. I have my doubts about it. I used to get decent conduction effects from Volcano Hybrid on whip mode. However taste suffers, and you burn off Cannabinoids and terps while you are not hitting it. I also had the strong impression that conduction highs don't last...

That's a nightmare. Very unfortunate. I guess it's the great thing about ball vapes though, in that it's only the PID and Coil can breakdown. This is little consolation when it happens so quickly however.

When you say you use both ZX and CL differently, could you please expand a little on that? I would really like to know about the subtle differences and use cases.

Yeah I would like to have a Tempest head with boro, on a WPA in my living room. Another with Zirc on the ti stem for portable, and in the garden.

I've been doing single hit, DTL full lungfulls today. I prefer the experience of that with boro. The high feels more cerebral, and hits faster. Zirc is better for extended sessions, where you want to casually take multiple smaller puffs. Also better for hash. If you want to use it in both...

Anyone changed ball type, and found it affected the vape signature? I just changed to boro 2.5 and I swear the high is different. Same dose, same material. Anyone feel similar?

@coolbreeze How many heat cycles are you needing to fully extract in the Hyper? I presumed it would be like the old Dynas I used to use, but realised it might not be the case. If you heat lower on the cap, can you fully extract the bowl in a cycle or two?

I think it's a poor trade off for my own taste. I hope it's still possible to buy the og TM2 in the future. This is purely subjective however.

I mainly use it around the house. I don't lack other vapes, including plug in desktop. The half bowl is a fine micro dosing solution as it's still really satisfying. Website says you get it included with pre-order. After that it will likely be paid for accessory.
