Just received my walnut Splinter today. Wow, even more beautiful than the pictures, way smaller than it looks too. I’m so glad I went with the Amber glass, looks really nice. I’m charging my mod tonight so won’t try out the Splinter until tomorrow probably. I’m just going to start out in VW mode...

Same here, just got the shipping notice. I was #49 if anyone is wondering. I think production has really ramped up so hopefully more and more people will be getting their Splinters soon.

The main difference I see, other than one being SS and the other Ti, is the new 18 M tip has the triple helical groove design and my LE 7 fin still just has the single or double groove. The LE also has the grooves cut out all the way through the fins. I think I’m still getting better airflow...

I think since it’s 100% convection that you COULD use it on demand but the problem is the heater stays on for a set amount of time so if you just hit it once and put it down it will waste a lot of battery. If you turn it off after each hit, You would have to turn it on and wait for it to heat up...

Volcano is the best desktop. Yeah, it’s more than you wanna pay but mine’s still going strong after more than 10 years of daily use. Maybe you could find a deal on a used one.

The new SS tip that comes with the new M is redesigned for more airflow. I like it and I’m more of a Ti tip person.

Gifted my 17 M to a friend who combusts. Showed him how it’s done and hopefully it converts him to vaporizing. He’s always loved using the volcano when he comes over but he’s very tied to combustion.

Any updates? Would very much like to hear how this is coming along.
