I believe with runny oil, you might want to consider the 2 coil approach and rotate them when the bottom coil needs to be re-primed. And yes, it would hold .5g and the possibility of it leaking is definitely possible, it really depends on how you use it.

I definitely use the globe/TI kiss carts more than my Hercules SR-71 since I believe them to be more conservative as well. I guess I haven't truly mastered the SR71 yet? I've heard myths and rumors about the Iris dialing it down to making it near godlike vapor and taste wise but haven't ever had...

I understand the 8 having parts that need to be redone but if the Okeanos upgrade parts are ready, why aren't they getting shipped out until the 8 is done? Kinda just bummed since I ordered other stuff with it and it's gotten pushed back two months.

Are the Okeanos pre-order upgrades still on track? Where are you buying those 14250 batteries? I still have my old HVD from a few years ago but the 14250 batteries all dim when I use them for trying out the KISS, globe.

I found the method that I mentioned works best when the ti KISS carts are new but after the first few weeks, it'd probably takes 3x 3 second bursts to get the same sized hit. Sticking with 3x 2 second bursts when you first get it would be ideal so the wires don't get burnt as quickly and then...

If the coil is pitch black, it probably means you've held the button down too long and/or didn't load the coil with enough oil. Every time I load it, I try to keep the coil fully saturated and do 2-3 second bursts usually 2 times per load.

If you're fine with load as you go (reloading every hit), w9tech has the Globe Heater and TI2 wire KISS cartridge which I think are probably your best bet for the easiest/least learning curve and being less than 25$ max which should last you at least a few months if used correctly...
