I almost exclusively get indica strains to treat temporal lobe epilepsy. CBD seems to stop the seizures in their tracks, and THC helps deal with the side effects of the Keppra I'm prescribed. I've tried using exclusively CBD rich bud, but administering the correct dose (enough for long term relief, but not too much that I'm lethargic) is a bit difficult.
My personal favourite strains I've tried are 8 Ball Kush, Tahoe OG, Ghost Kush, and Northern Lights. I think I like the balanced THC/CBD levels that you get from high THC indicas. Low THC indicas feel a bit too stoney to me, and pure sativas feel a bit racey. I should experiment more with mixing high THC sativa with high CBD indica, but every time I meet my caregiver I end up just picking indica/hybrid strains I know I like. Right now I'm loving the headband I have, which definitely feels high in CBD for a hybrid. Guess I gotta do some experimenting soon.
