I just simply disagree with most of you. I detect a profound difference in potency between wand and torch. So I just did a little experiment. Heating a bowl with the wand and one with the torch. Then ejecting the bowl as soon as it's done, to see if one has cooked the herb more in the process...
I think the Tornado is terrible with the wand. I don't care about terps either. Flavour isn't the Tornados strong point anyway. It's just that when using it with the wand, potency drops off a cliff compared to a powerful torch.
So I'm heavily inclined to agree with @Roffa
Try drawing on the device about 9-10 seconds while in the wand. The Tempest is very easy and consistent to gauge extraction strength this way. I do it all the time when looking through the adaptor is tricky.
I don't wait at all. I reload then put it back in the wand. Using the visual indicator as a guide, or drawing on the device after about 10 seconds.
Don't put it in a scruffy woofer cooling stand. The residual heat in the balls is a good thing if you want multiple bowls, as it makes it far more...
Thanks, I thought that might be the case. I really appreciate you confirming that. I've already wanted an Inductor for a while, so I'll just use a torch until I snag one.
So I got it working with the wand for one hit extraction. Burns through the wand batteries faster than my other vapes. I'm also noticing a considerable drop off in potency compared to using a torch.
Anyone else noticed less potency woth the wand? If so does that remain true with the more...
Nice you might be on to something. I just tried doing it through the top, the way Lee (tabletop bong) does it, and it seems like you would have to go quite far past the second click to get results. Which begs the question is it possible to damage the click discs function by doing that?
I'll...
Once again? I've been told to wait for second click, now i'm being told to ignore the click. I'm not perceiving an obvious concensus the way you are.
Also lots of people are still asking about the wand. If you don't have the patience for new people in the thread asking questions, then just...
I did that. I took it out after one click, and it was wispy. To be fair, I don't think I would like to leave it in much longer. It takes a lot of time compared to other vapes, so does not instill a sense of efficiency. The other times I tried I got the positioning wrong and it completely cooked...
I have not managed to get good results with the Tornado yet. But I have only tried a few times. I thi k the wand is a great tool in general depending on your other vapes though. It's amazing with the Tempest and Convector XL. Supposed to be great with Dynavaps as well.
Lots of people say it...
It's not really a new idea. @invertedisdead has built prototypes made from one piece Zirc stem concepts.
Yeah maybe the heat conductivity of the Zirconium is enough. I find myself doubtful, as I believe not enough vapour will make contact with the Zirc walls for enough time to cool a 0.2g...
Yeah my first experoence the vapour was whispy. Then my experienced after the herb cooked in the bowl. This makes me think I got the position correct the first time, but didn't give it long enough. I'll keep experimenting. Thanks.
