The Tempest works brilliantly in the wand. The Tornado works terribly in the wand imo, as it cooks off the herb. I'll send you the pics form the experiment I did with it.
Induction heats any reactive metal that is in the activation zone. The Tornado's bowl is surrounded by the heat battery. So...
I find torch hits superior. The wand burns off so much of the herb before you draw on the device. You can experiment yourself by removing the bowl immediately as soon as it's ready. I thought to do the experiment because I was perceiving a massive difference in potency between wand and torch...
Does Anvil not have a very different signature? Or am I misremembering?
Tornado is more potent, but I kind of feel the Anvil had more of a stoney sig. That would be the reason to still use one I guess. I agree though that the Tornado is superior.
The V1 is feature complete. It's not going to lose it's functional value, or even financial value, as there will be plenty of people willing to buy a V1, especially if they are no longer made in the future. Some people will just prefer the smaller bowl size, or the stem aesthetics.
So...
If the screen is properly installed it is very secure, and can be trusted. I think a visual clue for me it's installed correctly is one of the spokes bend inwards
Yeah I can imagine. I have an unfortunate jaw condition howevef. I've had to let go of many vapes the past due to too much restriction.
I have 14mm and 18mm quartz cap for example. I can't use them with ground weed as they Flare my pain levels up massively. But with whole buds it is fine.
It...
Thinking about getting a dreamwood Roasty. I keep reading the airflow is really restricted. I feel like I could avoid restriction by using ungrounded little pieces of nugs just like in a Terpcicle. Anyone use it that way?
I would be getting a large if that helps.
Tornado tastes much better than I expected actually. It tastes much better than the Anvil as well.
I have better tasting vapes which I use when flavour is my main concern. I like the Tornado for it's potency and signature. So diminishing flavour with a heating method is not of concern to me...
The context of the post I replied to explains that. It was mentioned that the Wand kills the terps more and doesn't taste as good. I said I don't care about that, I care more about potency.
I've used the Tornado a tonne, and I do have an opinion. My opinion is that I have other vapes that taste...
I do care about flavour. I have some very tasty vapes. I don't use Tornado for that though. I use different vapes depending on what I want. I hope that clears up your confusion.
I think my torch heat up is just over that, including heating the atomiser. I find the potency to by excellent. It feels like a sweet spot for my tastes. So I agree.
Depends on what it is replacing. If you are replacing the wand, you will save a lot of money over time on your bud. I use about twice as much to get to where I want to be with the wand. If you mainly use Tornado, that would pay for itself depending on how much of a heavy user you are.
If you...
My wand allows me to do the same as you. So I will repeat the experiment after work. Can you suggest the wand setting for dark brown one hit extraction, while aiming just at the atomiser?
Yeah sure it will still be an good experience, just vastly inferior imo. Imo the Tornado has drawbacks due...
