That's an interesting question that I hadn't considered. I suppose the micro plug/pin could be different number of contacts, but the USB end seems standard. I tried different ones and they all seemed to work. I've been using the one I showed and its been charging up ok.
Perhaps our electronics...

Although I see its unavailable at present you get the idea.
If you draw particularly hard it can cool down enough to trigger the heater/red lights, esp at lower tempts. (that also resets the 1 minute shutoff).

I'm sure he's doing his best to keep to his commitment but if he is using USPS then I wouldn't be optimistic.
A 2 day Priority package was mailed to me from a town 22 miles away last Monday. Still has not arrived. Tracking shows sitting in the same place for three days now. Kind of doubt I'll...
You must have a more updated version of the Mac OS (I'm holding at 10.6.8) because it just crashes immediately whenever I try to open the App. Really discouraged me from using it as much as I thought I would. I hear the Crafty App works with most Mac OSs so I wonder what the problem is. Most of...
As I recall he stated a couple of weeks ago that he was almost out of the heater mechanism and wouldn't be resupplied until Jan. Only way to know if you made it in before he ran out would be to contact him directly.

For the life of me I couldn't get mine to peal off so I just gave up. After a couple days use one corner started to lift up . I could grab it with a pair of tweezers (just what the heak is a single tweezer:huh::shrug:) and peal it off.

Although its not really necessary the Crafty manual says in cleaning you should pry off the hologram catch, even though you rightly pointed out it doesn't need to be removed, just slid back.

Those red caps that come with the EVO are perfect to seal the ends and slosh the liquid back and forth. I used a turkey baster because the eye dropper seemed too slow.
Easy does it.

Indeed I do. You can carry a couple of different strains in a couple of tubes, plus loading on the go is a lot easier...not all those parts and brushing. I can stop while I'm walking my dog and easily refill from the tube without having to keep track and attach lots of pieces. Open, dump...
@steama:Thanks, indeed it does. Didn't notice that. So my battery came inserted the wrong way. Hope my original "charging" didn't damage anything. I turned the battery over and plugged it back in. The green light is flashing so fingers crossed!

Doob tubes are perfect companions to the Crafty. Easy to dispense materials accurately. I find that 3/4 of the cap full is a perfect bowl size. Just flip it over into the bowl, tap it out, invert the cap and lightly tamp down the material and you are ready to go. Or you can just fill easily...
5 hours in and still flashing red for last two hours. Unplugged it and tried it. Doesn't turn on. Nothing happens.
Then I opened it up to look at the battery and noticed it was inserted with the negative end first with the positive end up against the screw on end cap. That cap has one of those...
Picked mine up from the PO this morning. Charging first time now.
I'm 2 hours into charging and the light was flashing green, but now has started flashing RED.
Anybody know what that means? Can't find anything about it in the paperwork.
