I will keep this short, used 1 original model and 2 different 1.5's and all have ended up in combustion. Out of 5 ovens 1 was doa all the others end up combusting after 2 weeks of use.
I was told by a rep the ovens are made to only last so long and they were meant to be replaced. 2 weeks is...
My used IQ2 works great, I have to keep it clean or it seems to trap too much of of the vapors on its walls.
I often wonder what it would be like with a shorter airpath.
I'm relieved I bought your IQ2 cause my original dotleaf and 1.5 combust, I have shelved both and exclusively use the IQ2. I wish they would add a temp cutoff, the combusting would be a non issue if you could set a specific temp cutoff.
Like others I have been counting seconds in "one one...
The clips in the top piece take me a few tries cause they like to pop back in soon as you pop them out lol I just pull back each tab with my fingernail slightly until it pops. Use the tip of tamping/stirring tool to get the 8 hole tan piece out.
A very light tamp and I don't always fill it completely I leave a little room between the rim and lid.
I hear some say they pack it down but the tab on oven says lightly pack for proper airflow.
If you had a combust you should clean your oven first though, take the inner oven shroud out (it...
Contact dotleaf support and they will 100% take care of it. They are good people and their customer service is beyond what most companies do .
I'm on day 3 of my 1.5 and no combustion yet (setting 3 and 4).
Sucks People are having combustion with the new version, wish they knew how to prevent it because I really am a fan when it doesnt combust.
I'm currently using a dotleaf and an IQ2, the IQ2 gets me going but the dotleaf has that extra punch to drive it home and some times I just need that...
You really have to let it soak up the heat and sip it slowly, also have to restrict the airflow imo. I end up cupping the bottom air flow hole on the door and sliding my thumb as a carb for the side door hole. I run mine on at least setting 3, and 4 when I want to finish a pack.
Wanted to add I...
Around $90 a month, also buy the 25% - 35% THC range bud because I seem to get more sessions out of flower in that range. Under that normally vapes in a single session and isnt worth it except for flavor.
Use some isopropyl on the connector of oven and inside device. A small fingerprint smudge on the oven connection can cause the device not detect the oven. Had it happen a few times but a quick wipe fixes it every time.
Thanks for this, I was wondering where I could find something like that yesterday. I always have issues filling mine and losing small bits of flower to the wind lol. I googled pax loading tool and found a bunch for $10 on amazon.
That being said and sorry for the double post but I very much love the dotleaf, it just happens that the first one I bought had some issues with the oven not working at all, then once I got a oven I had issues with the connector and combusting after changing battery.
Just make sure if you buy...
ok lmao
Dude is the most delusional person on earth, don't mind him he buys products and must furiously defend them at all costs to defend his choice in purchases. The guy actually blamed me for buying the wrong product, I was trying to give him the benefit of the doubt but hes going full metal...
