De Dampkring is great
I really like The Bluebird too, great vibe to the place and also has tons of volcanos out and about to use. I didn't bother as had my VG with me, but still nice option...
That'd be a real shame... this is (as someone just said) about the best off grid/camping/shed vape going imo.
I think it would lose something and kind of get lost in the crowd of other heavy hitting plug ins out there (not that its particularly highly visible atm)... as it stands it's pretty...
Nice choice, I'll be going beech for the dual ver when ready.
You picked a good vape for the first one that's for sure
What part of Finland? I've spent quite a time there as I used to work for a Finnish company a long time ago. Beautiful place, if a little cold ;)
Had my tubo out...
The manual is online at tubo.lamart.ch and it has the standard/recommended menu entries...
The coil resistance for the unit you have is written in ink on the inside of the battery door.

^^^ this. My supreme always fucks up combusters big time. They always kind of like my other vapes that they try (then roll a joint or light a bowl)... not with the supreme, that stops them in their tracks.
That big hit, extracted quickly at reasonably high temps is what's needed imo.
You really think those condensers/fins do anything when it's being used as a stem for a log...?
They're only relevant when using the cap/conduction heating surely, and without the cap it's not a Vapcap.
:hmm:
This is what I've found since the new update. I can run a battery down much further (using demand not cruise) before my Tubo won't work.
Thanks, and you have a great weekend too
Great video btw... but it's the dual battery version I'm holding out for :goon: ;)
I don't get it either if I'm honest. It can ONLY be for sharing... surely  And even then direct with a whip (??)
Who knows... well I guess Ed does, but he isn't letting on.
^^^ Dually in the wild
@Elfgrin you got the two stem version. Think that's the first one we've seen out in the real world. Should be great for sharing at your festival...
Do let us know how it gets on :D
:peace:
Well my 1st firmware update went without incident... couldn't be simpler really. Just used the simple updater this time, but I'll prob take a look at that fancy graph creating one at some point... ;)
Hoping for some battery life improvements as I tend to run my tubo at high temps  so I'm...
Sure...
these are the 14mm banks:

... and the main page for the joints. They do 10, 14 and 18mm and polished joints too (although I prefer ground myself):

Think it only fair to...
ok feedback time...
My bubbler and J-hook are both 18mm, so have been using my gong with a 14mm -18mm adapter. Makes it a little sturdier to stand up too
The silicone tube section is for two reasons... firstly it gives you a cool place to hold when you're handling the hot gong
It also...
To be honest I don't really like the stock short stems that come with the Tubo, so thought I'd grab some alternatives...
First off I found some 14mm ground glass joint "blanks" from a company that supplies glass to blowers in the UK. The stem length is 12 cm, and they're are very well made and...
I use a coarse grind, and pack the ground glass directly too as @muunch said (just capping with a basket screen).
I probably cram a little more than I should in, so do tend to stir halfway through.
