I'm getting the incorrect resistance value on insertion of battery too. Mine should read 0.179 and I've seen 0.186 and 0.900 displayed. Has jumped to correct value (and stays there) after hitting the fire button like you reported. Haven't seen anything else you're reporting and I've run quite a...

You need to run the joytech firmware updating tool first, plug in your tubo then open the bin from within that. There's another update tool called NFirmwareEditor that others use to do this but I haven't tried it yet... Instructions on tubo.lamart.ch at the bottom :tup:

Ok. Firmware update failed...black screen, no response and won't turn on at all... any ideas?? Edit: panic over... after a very quick response from FJ I was able to put the evic into recovery mode and it was recognised and updated fine... Even had time to edit my post :D

Fully agree with both you guys. I do C not F too, and won't usually heat the block over 185 C if I can help it... the block's probably hotter to be fair but the thermo shows that reading. I'm usually 160 - 185 range depending on mood.

Don't know if I'm quite getting what you ask, but I have new HG2 batteries, charge them externally in a nitecore d2 to 4.2 v and they always show 98% when I put them in the tubo... In fact all my batteries (5 in rotation) show 98% when inserted. Occasionally 99% but not often. Probably just...

Can you not stretch and get a VG Coil? Think they're cheaper than the classic even... That way you could use it through water if it's too harsh dry. Edit: maybe some sort of silicone whip attachment for your classic??

I use a short RBC stem. I think the amber one is RBT too, but the longer length (and coloured of course)...
