Seek, so yours tore also. My tear (very clean slice to my eye) is on the right (negative) side. Haven't made any adjustments to the tension on the negative ring, but I see what you mean
That ThermoVape looks fabulous. I don't do many concentrates currently, but am looking at Ethanol extraction right now. I suppose in that case you'd recommend the revolution? I gather there are two different vapes.
This unit really seems to be what I've been looking for. Hate to see people with problems, and their sire being down isn't a good thing. Maybe they were hacked, but no one shuts down a site for more than an hour or two at 2:00AM.
That's one hellova interesting post, OF! Thanks for that. Not sure about the "dope,"just that there was some discoloraton to that area and I assumed some added material. So perhaps some of these units have welding weakness issues.
The ThermoVape looks VERY interesting! Too bad their site is down. I'll head over to the specific vape forum and look this one up.
Thanks a lot. That's right along the line of what I was looking for.
I really appreciate the reply, Seek. I don't use the Q-tip often at all, and in any event I can't see how this could tear the steel screen. The screen slices are right along the rod, very clean and not jagged / pulled. It's like the screen was cut but the black dope they use bonded it.
I have had iolites for a while. Cool enough but I don't like being committed to a full bowl and like it or not I don't like the Butane.
I had a Vapir NO2 and the plasticizer smell would not go away. I believe you have to be really careful with selecting a smoking / vaping device based on the...
Who is having problems with the screen breaking / separating right where the screen is sort of bonded to the rods. My second one this has happened to. Nothing touches that screen except the LB brush or a q-tip. After using this for going on two years, I'd say this is the achilles heel.
Just an update: I had problems with my Powerex 2700s. After some detective work, it was clear the problem was not the charger, and not the LB. It was the batts. All 4 of them. Thet were replaced and work great now.
Battery Update: I think my Powerex 9000 charger is screwed. One day all of my batteries started behaving badly. I thought this was my new LB causing the issue, then the PA arrived. Clearly the PA is working fine, and the LB is also.
For all by batteries to crap out at the same time, must be...
You might have something incorrect or perhaps the PA isn't working properly. Most here will tell you that you can ignite your trench with the PA at 50% setting.
I was never crazy about the power output of the stock batts. I loved the 2700s initially. The honeymoon is over, however.
I'll try the refresh mode as you suggest. Thank you for taking the time to help me with that. I'll use the stock 9000 settings for this task. If that doesn't work, I may...
I was about to write this very same set of sentiments. I just received mine, have been kicking myself in the ass ever since. I thought I would miss the portability of the battery, but hell I'm in a lazy boy.
I'm still wondering why these state of the art 2700 batteries decided they all needed...
