tig420 - Glad to hear your HI arrived safely and you are enjoying it. You have taken your first step into a larger world. Have fun practicing.
Jeppy - Thanks again for the stones.
OhTheAgony - The first ding hurts the worst. That is one of the nice things about my bamboo HI. It is very hard...

I have been making 18mm all glass vapor path stems for quite a while now. Just wish there was a way to eliminate the silicone from the tube all together.
ghost>boogie on - Thanks for the request. I have you on the list. Here is my favorite hydrating whip setup. The Filter Flask and 2-piece glass roasting tube. So inexpensive and easy to clean.
Thanks for the top 10's Jeppy, Vapinghole, and Elluzion. The HI does have some merits.
mscm888 - Short and to the point.
OhTheAgony - Very good point about the visual quality of the herb. A good argument for growing your own. Hard to say if even the heat of the vaporizer will destroy all the...
Alcohol vapor in your lungs is not a very pleasant experience either. I much prefer THC to alcohol in any form.
It is nice to be able to offer a wide variety of roasting tubes that will suit almost everyone's needs.
Ed - I need to finish up a couple of other units and then will be ready to turn yours. Hopefully, I can get a matching stem out of the wood for each unit. That sindora burl is like two completely different colored woods. One HI will be tan and the other mauve in color. Both from the same chuck...
Vapinghole - It is nice to know that my efforts are appreciated and enjoyed. Sorry to keep everyone waiting for so long.
Jeppy - Thanks for the video tribute. The "Jim's Seek n Save Antiques" is only about 7 blocks from my house. Right next to the Neighbor's bar. Nice that you got to see Omaha...
OhTheAgony - Thanks for posting the photo. Looks like that all glass stem is getting used quite a bit. I am just finishing another batch of them. The hand grinding is the most challenging operation I perform. The taper has to be just right. I rarely get it on the first try. Sorry to hear you are...
You would be surprised how much you can do is such a little space. I am basically working in a cedar closet with very little room. I knew almost nothing about working glass when I started.
I have purchased some 14mm gong fittings that have 12mm OD glass tubing. The ID is about 8.5mm. It may...
Love the HI treats GhostVapor. Thanks for the post.
Vapinghole - I have been trying to make the screen about 18mm from the top. This should allow plenty of room for stirring and keeps the herb from being too close to the heating element. I never fill the bowl more than half full so that it...
Menny - The 13mm x 1.25" long glass roasting tubes are $10 each. They work on both the 2-piece glass roasting tube and the wooden mouthpiece. The ID of the glass varies slightly so that the wood must be cut very precisely and the glass matched to the wooden tube.
OTA - The screens have all...
Vapinghole - Glad to see the glass tubes arrived safely. You are getting quite an arsenal of glass roasting tubes for your HI-saber. I have been enjoying my 13mm two piece roasting tube lately. The silinipple is a very handy roaster. It can be used from either end.
EyeFonez - Thanks for...
Thanks for the videos and photos bOObs. Glad to see your familiar backgrounds. Nice to see you are putting the glass roasting tip to good use. They work great with poly or glass mouthpiece tubes as well. I find they work very close to the all glass roasting tubes. The purple heart matches your...
staticsunn - It should work fine as long as the voltage is closer to 12. The VVPS should allow you to precisely dial in the temperature.
Elluzion - Sounds like Jeb-HI is performing very well for you. I like how you can control the temperature and vapor density by how much air you allow to leak...
What I was trying to say earlier is that every manufacturers log vape already has copper in the air stream. The exposed resistor wires are made of copper. They are just covered with tin solder. They are ROHS because there is no lead in the tin solder.
I have great luck collecting honey from my Iolite after I modified it to accept a glass mouthpiece. I tapped the threads in the Iolite bowl (on left) to accept a 1/4" threaded stainless steel tube. The stainless steel tube allows much better air flow than the stock Iolite stem and it connects to...
stickstones - You will be a JedHI knight before you know it. bOObs HIwalker is a good teacher.
OhTheAgony - The chuck threads onto the head stock of most lathes. It uses a key to tighten 4 jaws on the wood. The jaws can be changed out with different sizes / styles. It is a very strong way to...
The wires leading to the resistor are made of copper that is covered with tin. Both are elements.
Tin might be a better material since bare copper tarnishes. Possibly tin coated copper. Will you fill the center of the glass beads with tin solder to seal around the wires?
Are you needing to...
