Thanks for posting the video BDV, but you really need to clean that tube. The screen can't be looking too clean with all that buildup. A dirty screen will make it easier to combust since it cuts down the airflow. I like to harvest by first removing the screen and then drawing hot air from the HI...

    Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud

The Vapor Lung would work very well if bags are desired. The cap just needs to be drilled to accept an 18mm adapter. Would be nice for parties . Only the VapeMeister handles the Cloud. Less chance of breakage.

    Volcano

Awesome. Thanks for the link. Not having luck watching it. Maybe it only works on mobile devices. Does it work well? Will have to try it someday if I ever get a Cloud / HT. EDIT - Found a version I could watch.

Has anyone ever used their Cloud HT with a Volcano for direct draw?

I had a feeling it would fit and work. Now those that don't want to smoke can still use your Tokes. Cookie must have really souped up your WW to get it so hot.

Did you try the silicone tubing from my Turbo Tube? It is 1/2" OD and 3/8" ID.

Jeppy - Glad to hear your roasting tube arrived safely. Curious to see how you like the new SS roasting tip. I am also amazed that I still have my first pipe. Have been pretty lucky overall. I also still have my 1977 Odyssey glass Toker II which works very well with a Turbo Tube. I have only...

As I was packing things up, I found the very first pipe I ever bought back in 1977 at the Cinderella City Mall in Denver (no longer there). It was also the first time I had ever seen cocobolo wood. I have had an interest in exotic wood ever since that time. When I gave up combustion, I thought I...

    Obscure and Obsolete Vapes

I was curious about the Vapro so I did a search and look what I found. The Dutch Plant Vitality. Very interesting concept. Quite elegant. I wonder how well it works.

OhTheAgony - The ID of the glass is 10mm just like the bowl on my all glass roasting tubes. I plan to charge $30 for it. I trying some of the 7/16" OD, 3/8" ID SS tubing to make an unbreakable tip for u bwade wunner. It is a real pain to get them to be 10mm ID so they are a direct replacement...

u bwade wunner - Thanks. There is just enough wood exposed to grab it for clearing the glass. I will definitely make you a red heart wong with a SS bowl when I get a chance. Unfortunately, I am not done with the move yet. It does feel good to lighten the load a bit and have less to move. The...

I had my lathe setup for grinding some gong ends on glass tubes so I thought I would try a wong. This one is made from osage orange. The wood is 2.5" long and accepts one of my 13mm glass roasting tips. I should be able to make wongs that match the wood of the HI if there is enough extra wood. I...

Nice bubbler boobs. Very stylish. BigDaddyVapor - Good to hear you are having great success with the fixed voltage supply. Sometimes simpler is better. I like the Bic lighter analogy. Sort of an electric lighter with no flame. The vapor is much better for your lungs than smoking. If you draw...

cluffy - Thanks. Enjoying your post for bOObs but my neck in sore from moving my head back and forth. Love your vape station. BigDaddyVapor - Damage to the heating element depends upon how long you have it at a certain voltage. A couple of minutes at 15 volts will probably not destroy it...

u bwade wunner - Thanks but the slits were a hack job using a hack saw. Makes vacuum jobs much faster now. BigDaddyVapor - Nice to hear you finally made it through the entire thread. Lots of good information. I am glad to see you are discovering the versatility of all the different tube...

    Discontinued Vapolution 2.0

Don't you get conduction from contact of the glass on the heater? When you draw hot air through glass tubing, some of the heat energy goes to heat the glass. If the glass is already hot from conduction then more heat energy should be available from the hot air stream for vaporization. Radiant...

All this talk of particulates and water filtration got me to thinking about a problem with my shop vac. The filter is always getting plugged and then it looses suction. So I modified it based on how a bong works for water filtration. I cut slots in a 1-1/2" pvc pipe and attached it to an elbow...

The resistor is the same, but the ability to remove heat from the resistor is much different. The PD was essentially a heat sink for the resistor. The harder / more dense the wood, the better it pulled heat away and it ran cooler. The larger size provided more wood / surface area to absorb the...
