I've found that the CFX is so powerful that I start vaping at 353°F and get more than enough clouds. Your unit must be defective and I would think that Boundless will have no problem replacing it.

I would imagine that none of the air that goes through the furnace is part of the vapor path. The furnace air is just for heat regulation and totally isolated from the air that goes through the herb and inhaled.
