As someone who went through several grinders (including BCG and flower mill) trying to find one that I could use with a weak left hand, I understand your issue. I wound up purchasing a Phoenician grinder with the bumper rings and have been very pleased with it.

I purchased the large and did not care for it. I have problems in left hand and the finish was too slick for me to be able to grip and grind effectively. I suspect that the smaller size would have allowed for a better grip. Good luck with your decision.

It will fit in a 14mm, but you really need to hold it in place at that size. Just the very end mates up. I have one and use a 14-18 adapter in a bubbler.
