Sure. I have nerve damage to my left hand which has left it's grip very weak. I had been using a Space Case grinder and decided to replace it when the large size of the BCG came out. I purchased a large one and it was simply too slick for me to hold on to. I tried the rubber pads used to...
As someone who went through several grinders (including BCG and flower mill) trying to find one that I could use with a weak left hand, I understand your issue.
I wound up purchasing a Phoenician grinder with the bumper rings and have been very pleased with it.
I purchased the large and did not care for it. I have problems in left hand and the finish was too slick for me to be able to grip and grind effectively. I suspect that the smaller size would have allowed for a better grip.
Good luck with your decision.
Yes. I started a chat on their website about the issue and was told to submit an email, which I did. We'll see what they say.
On a related note, the Azurium tip and cap was a nice surprise! I so happen to have an extra Omni XL condenser. Anyone have suggestions of a sharp looking stem...
Yes a decent seal. I purchased a keg after breaking two glass WPAs in one week. 14mm needs to be held to the joint. It matches and allows you to milk the piece, but only the very end matches the glass. 18 mm seats further into the joint and doesn't require to be held in place. I sometimes...
It will fit in a 14mm, but you really need to hold it in place at that size. Just the very end mates up. I have one and use a 14-18 adapter in a bubbler.
My Flix arrived today. I know that I am going to embarrass myself, but what is the wrench shaped thing made of circuit board material used for? And, the silicone things are supposed to be feet and not coil spacers, correct?
Try not to laugh too hard.....:)
I've been using the Epochs in Flite #079 for a few weeks now. No complaints whatsoever. But I haven't used 350 batteries for several years, so I really don't have anything to compare them to.
The Phoenician came in today. The reddit seller threw in some large rubber rings that the company uses to increase grip. It works! My only complaint is it might be too large in my hands. I'll be on the lookout for a medium, but until then--I believe that I've found my grinder.
Thanks to...
Thank you! I understand the difference now. Just wish it were easier to distinguish between them... I may get ambitious one day and try to set up a system to measure the caps.
Again, thank you.
Wait a sec. So, while I might not be able to determine year, I can determine the hotter...
I see folks posting about different year caps and tips. How do you determine this? I've traded for some items and would like to know what year the cap is, etc.
Yes, my issue was in turning the loaded grinder, not opening. I hold bottom in left hand and grip and turn lid with my right. Left hand has poor grip and slick finish on BCG just spun in my hnd when loaded. I currently use a Space Case with a rubber band on bottom. But it is a PITA to...
