Why switch it to 12 volts? If it is a newer pass through Solo the power supply is 12 volts. What voltage did you use the Solo on? what's the amps that the power supply puts out? Is it a Dynex charger? It sounds like the battery to me from your description above.

Is each one from a cold start? I say about 3-4 but that's also with turning it on again if I'm not done with bullet or starting a second one.i usually pack them about 3/4 so I could shake to stir.

If you have the older non pass through Solo you should get a battery from @CentiZen get either one. I have the standard replacement one and can run my older Solo 4 full sessions with no light showing. Definitely worth the price.

I'd stay away from the pin pro for the slopes. Heating from cold you'd be lucky to get 3 full sessions unless you carry a battery pack. I love my PnP but I hate the battery life. You could check out @Edstnt he makes wooden stems for the Solo short ones too. edstnt.com

Domed screen works best, IMO. Take a 5/8 inch screen and dome it over a sharpie or similar object. I use the old screen from my pinnacle pro mouth piece cuts the solo bowl in half. the PnP screen is more basket shaped. Also used the No2 screen.
