You could also push the dome flat and you have an instant shorty stem. Cut the bowl size in half.

^^^ Are you using the silicone sleeve too? If so may help to pull it down so the first set of grill is exposed.

Its in a slot and the tab on the cap should be rotated 180 degrees and this wouldnt be a problem,or use one of the round holes. Exactly,You could use the Air stems in Solo too. The Solo still hits heavier than the AIR imo.
