I'm a member of a number of other forums and during giveaways there always seems to be an influx of new members that join the giveaway and then never post again or contribute to the site in any other way until the next giveaway. This bums me out. I've done a couple giveaways on this forum...

I had that triple Showerhead piece. It was pretty much useless, but I gave it to a buddy and he loves it for his oil rig. When I saw those deals on PipesDaddy for the pieces that came with the case, I went with the double Showerhead. I actually like it a lot. I was really tempted by that...

I've got that same ash catcher. I use it with the tiniest bit of water in it. I mean very, very little. It's there just to catch and hang onto particulate. Without water, the particulate is free to float around. That particular ash catcher can also be turned upside down and used as a mini perc...

Two thoughts on this setup. First, the resistance is going to collapse a lung on ya. Between the frit, the little ashcatcher, the 20" of narrow tubing that is the Saturn Tamer, the hydratube, and all the water, you are not going to enjoy pulling on that. Second, you really want the vapor tamer...

That honeycomb bubbler has received some great reviews in this thread. You may want to read the last 20 pages or so. Doing so may answer all your questions.

All three are roughly the same height. 7 1/4" to the top of the can. 12 3/4" to the mouthpiece.

The New Perc has less resistance, but is chuggy as hell. The 8 arm has just slightly more resistance, but just purrs as you hit it.

None of the three I received that rotax asked about have reinforced perks. The 8 arm tree has reinforcement between arms, but nothing reinforced to the can. The can on the 8 arm is a 40 mm can, I believe. The New Perk is about a 60mm can and is not reinforced. The percs themselves are four...

Okay, I gotcha. At first I read that you pushed them into a fully packed oven and couldn't understand. I learn much better visually. Thanks for the pics. It makes sense as it reduces the volume of the oven.
