No idea. I try to keep all my concentrates in silicone or glass containers. Glass just seems like the way to go, but the silicone containers make it so much easier to handle.

I don't know what kind of liquid is in there, but it says do not freeze. Personally, I would go with a vapor tamer from 7th floor over the tube from GBD. I always keep mine in the freezer until I'm ready to use it. Always super cold when I need it to be.

I had a problem with my first unit similar to what you are experiencing. The replacement I was sent has been top notch for over a year now. If it can be replaced under warranty, Ploom will take care of the problem.
