The battery does not heat during charging, not enough to heat the resins trapped in the vapor tube, by any means. Charging it normally will not cause issues unless you charge it directly after use. Charging it directly after use does not seem to be the best idea, I wait until mine has cooled...

I've just been using only ISO on my fritted pieces. It doesn't seem to take very long to clean and does the job very well. I shake the shit out of the piece I'm cleaning and make sure that the ISO flows through the fritted disc a bunch of times. Flush with hot water and done.

You are getting the most common Pax problem, the temperature light issue. It's all about how clean you keep your Pax.
