I figured that was the case. I shelved that and in the meantime I will be impless until my new box mod arrives. Grabbed a Wismec Presa 100w TC. Works with AF/S_ME and Tubo FW. I should be fine. I CAN use the imp in wattage mode on the v5 but fuck 10 second draws per click.

my mod has a cutoff of 10s in wattage mode, 20s in temp control mode. trying to sell it is the hard part. It's great, heats up fast and doesnt bullshit, but I like my evics better.

iPV5 is weird but works. set it to max temp of 428, Joule=wattage with no cutoff. I can hold the power button down for more than 10 seconds without it doing auto cutoff. flavor at 20J/W is amaing. 27w was my max and my AVB was dark brown.

Soo...I ended up winning the RBT halloween stem..and I ended up selling my evic and buying a iPV5 mod. I have a giant smoke stack in my hands, but holy fuck the flavor pops at 20w.

I have the evic vtc dual w/tubo fw. wattage mode is awesome. works well, just gets a bit toasty with constant use..nothing too bad. I may invest in A 510 heatsink. just to keep my evics 510 thread safe/prolong it.

Which firmware are you using/box mod? I'm running A Evic VTC Dual with the Tubo FW.

Just got mine..fantastic but I am beyond lost on how to set up my evic. I don't know If I can run it in temp control mode(I like running from 350F to 410F). I do not mind wattage mode, but I prefer temperature. I am using the tubo firmware fwiw. I have M1-3 set to 175.
