    The DAVINCI IQ

Bad news. I have lost the oven on my IQ. The original IQ failed as have 2 replacements. All three had oven failure. Now I have to go through the torture of getting another RMA from an non communicating CS department. Since I have had my IQ, most of the time since I have been waiting for a...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I agree. I will keep my Ascent as a backup for the IQ. For get together of family and friends the abilities of the Ascent are unsurpassed as a session vape. It is possible to load micro hits with the glass spacers or flowers. The efficiency and great long lasting taste always surprises...

You could glue the magnet back on, but per the DaVinci rep you really should RMA the unit sooner than later because of the oven crack. I have had luck with chat on the website during hours. A lot of folks never mess with taking the pearl off the post for cleaning, only lightly cleaning in place.

    The DAVINCI IQ

I am making a guess but to me 3 weeks is the worst I've seen, but lately 1 1/-2 weeks is the improved rate at the moment. From NV to NC it takes 5-6 days for shipping once you get a shipping tracking number for USPS.

I waited three weeks for them to ship out my replacement IQ. CS has apparently improved by a lot.

Sacrilege..... I have stopped using my grinder. At most I will break up nuggets into chunks. I want my trichomes in the oven instead of the grinder. I view nuggets as preloads for mobile packing. This is so much simpler and my ABV is dark and consistent. I am using the extra pearl and...

    The DAVINCI IQ

Your post is great. I have enjoyed everyone of your moments exactly the same.:clap: About the buttons, anyone with difficulty using the five button start, consider that your buttons are not functioning properly. I am glad you noted this. I have started just packing 8 hit microloads at...

    The DAVINCI IQ

I think you could plug the power cord for your IQ and use it a little without doing harm to the battery. Much of the current will come from the the external power? This IQ will not disappoint. It will take some practice to get the best performance for your style of consumption.

. About the DaVinci glass spacers, I think glass is a good heat sink. I like the two size approach to allow different load sizes. The ventilation holes are nice, although the pearl worked well without draw restriction. I'm gonna get a set (of glass spacers ). :-) I recommend going outside...

    The DAVINCI IQ

The differences I have noted between my 3 IQs include a power in button that was not crisp and consistent in function on my first IQ. This made mode selection difficult. It's oven failed. A second difference involves power settings in my 2nd IQ. After two short sessions, none of my batteries...

I also remember 8 mm. Are people using a pick tool to remove and replace it? Why take out the o ring?

    The DAVINCI IQ

I think it is a chrome electroplated on stainless steel. Around irregular surfaces/holes the electroplating is sometimes variable. Perhaps the electroplated chrome is too thin around the hole. I like my Ascent Packrat case for my IQ as it allows space for gear and batteries. It also is tall...

If it were me, I would continue use until later when DaVinci hopes to get an EU repair station established. Just don't clean that surface and the resin seals it up. Maybe @Davinci_vaporizer would pipe in on safety of cracks? Please allow me to present my thoughts on this. I haven't seen any...

I agree with you. The pics of seams previously posted showed a straight seam. What you present is an irregular crack. At some point in time you should get that replaced. Are you in the USA? DaVinci will make this right. Don't fret. There is a layer of glass there that minimizes exposure...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I think you are passing out incorrect information. I just got through reading about this service plan on the DaVinci page, they say it is a good option if your batteries have died AND covers a list of other problems normally covered under warranty. So...... aren't you glad I found this out...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

OK......... I had an idea. DaVinci offers extended warranties for only $60 that will repair or replace for 6 months. If you have an Ascent with bad batteries or otherwise broken you might get a new one if not repairable for cheap. Digging out my "out of warranty" Ascent to send off for...

    The DAVINCI IQ

You are on the right thought path. The pearl at the top of the oven transfers heat to your herb quickly, unless there is no contact with the load. Various spacers (Pyrex glass flowers or zirconium pearls) fill the dead space with a heat conductor that allows maximum contact. High temps make...

I am a loyal customer indeed. I have been influenced by your responses on the forum to customers who are upset. I am really good at putting your product through strenuous use and causing breakdowns. And yet you are patient with me and always honor your warranty, so back at you. I resisted...

    The DAVINCI IQ

Scroll back to mid December for discussions on batteries when @Davinci_vaporizer participated for good info. You can get good savings over DaVinci prices but note that the DaVinci battery is about the best and most powerful of its class. I found them expensive, unavailable unless bought in...

    The DAVINCI IQ

I got my 3rd IQ via a pretty quick RMA process of 7 days not including shipping. I like the extra gear I have now, thank you DaVinci for being rather generous. After using the Ascent for backup, I am still blown away by the improved efficiency of the IQ also finding it gives even better taste...
