I’m not sure this is needed for the tempest. There’s a nice ledge at the half bowl mark for the screen to sit on and it doesn’t slide out because it’s friction fit

Can’t you apply the same logic to a visual indicator though? In the end, it’s just an arbitrary temp sensor that you may have to push past

what’s the new bowl diameter? Any reason you’re sticking to punched screens instead of mesh? I’d probably swap it out for mesh if I get one

How thin is the stainless steel on the head? In Brenyo’s video, the metal turned pretty red using a torch and patinas like it’s thin

Did yours come with a wand adapter?

I have. it cools super well but at the cost of flavor and airflow. When released, I am going to try the tempest with the vortex, which is what I use now for my anvil USA. I find myself preferring to regulate the cooling with fresh air to maintain flavor and airflow
