I’m on the same boat. I took out my click disc and don’t even look at the VI. An improvement to the wand would be to have a smaller coil so that it sits closer to the tempest head for better induction efficiency. Could even tighten the size of the tempest head if the indicators are removed...

Make sure you’re pushing the cup out in the right direction. Push in the direction away from the buttons…if that makes sense

Ronx dual is perfect. It’s the torch I use. Plenty of power and the dual flame covers a large surface area. Heats super fast

also prefer direct tube with scu. Carb completely closed. Much better airflow and the vapor is warm but not harsh. Full of flavor and worth the trade off in cooling

Mine had a sizzle during the first heat up after messing with the click disk and coil. But went away after a burn off so likely due to finger oils

I personally think the helix adds too much draw restriction and robs a bit too much flavor. My go to is direct tube with SCU. Cools enough natively and works great through water However the helix cools vapor better than any stem that I have used
