As Shisha said but everclear is definetly better for winterization so if you could start off with super cold everclear then your even better off. Quick wash then let it stay in the freezer for 12 hrs before filtration and purge

It is spendy but the flavor profile is so much better so if your not doing huge runs a gallon will last quite awhile. I use about 150-250 mills for about 15-20 grams so ill get roughfly 15-20 runs out of a gallon

Ive def noticed water making shatters start to oxidize like the plague. But also if your not getting all the waxes out it does the exact same thing you can have a slab of shatter and one lil opaque spot and it will spread like wildfire
