I've never understood the concept of "no-stick" pans. Seems completely unnecessary, imo, given a decently seasoned cheap industrial steel pan will do "no stick" every bit as well and provide better browning. And you can flatten the bottom back out with a hammer if needed.

Interesting, I just answered a similar question on Reddit. Any food grade, cooking oil/grease like your suggested coconut works. I use "Santa Cruz Shredder Shredder Grease" in the lipbalm tube. It's just hemp oil in a usefully small sized container that works nicely. Less is more.
