Playing with wirelessly charging the ALP convinced me that excellent 18650 cells are cheap enough to recycle and replace when the cell loses it's punch, maybe annually. I'm still not a big fan of pass-through charging though, I believe it's the fastest way to degrade a cell.

Take a look at the LSV glass stems. 18mm male ends natively like your long DBV longest stem, just shorter. And you also have the (according to The Wife) penis like bent swiss cheese stem that's in between the regular and short stems.
