I am not familiar with he brand of fuel that you are using, but the Hammer is designed for use with 100% butane fuel. FC member Dopevape has also had problems with uncommon (bad) fuels, but he solved his problem by purging the fuel tank. How to purge your fuel tank: Only perform this...

You were joking, but this is actually a great idea. It is a quick and dirty way to test whether humidifying air at the inlet is worthwhile (and you don’t have to build anything). Go into a small bathroom and turn on a very hot shower until the bathroom fills with steam. I think that we can...

Glad you are digging them....the screens are definitely much easier to replace in the GonG and the custom stems. They have been going fast, so I made a bunch of new ones... should have some pics up later this week. NO MORE wispy HITS

you should see the blue light right away... the blue indicator should be visible during the entire thirty second warm up there may be a bit of air still in the tank causing inconsistent ignition, but I personally tested that unit and know that it worked properly prior to shipping

I can see your solution being beneficial when the Hammer is used in a horizontal orientation. When the Hammer is used in an upright position, it should not be an issue

This is only true at the moment of ignition... Once the burst of pressure has past and the flame is running smoothly, the exhaust gasses only come out of the top vent. The airpaths are completely separate, and the convection of the flame also helps reinforce the upward path of the exhaust. In...

I have never used one of these filters. I'm sure it does a good job of adding moisture, but it seems like it would clog very easily. Do you have to soak it in ISO? I like the idea of adding moisture at the intake (solves the clogging problem). I'm curious to know if it will be effective.

The new stems make a BIG difference... really glad you like it!! It was important to us (for safety reasons) that the Hammer turn off when you let go of the trigger. I have big hands and have found that holding the trigger with my index finger (instead of my thumb) can be more comfortable...

Glad to hear that you are loving it! That custom stem you snagged is one of my favorites. The lock on stem is such a small change, but it really does make a big difference in ease of use. Hope everyone had a great holiday :spliff: NO MORE wispy HITS David

These answers are all correct. Heat is applied to the outside of the stainless steel tube (right in the middle). The exhaust gasses stay on the outside of the stainless tube and exit out of the top center of the Hammer. Your clean air travels only on the inside of the stainless tube. There...

I was really just making a joke, and completely agree with both of you. (I rarely vaporize in situations where discretion is required... consequently, stealth was not really a design consideration). I have to admit that initially I was turned off by vaporization because early models were very...

You may not be able to conceal the Hammer as easily as an LB... But there is nothing discreet about dense, billowing clouds of vapor ;) The sheer effectiveness of the Hammer kind of throws stealth out the window... NO MORE wispy HITS David
