you should see the blue light right away... the blue indicator should be visible during the entire thirty second warm up there may be a bit of air still in the tank causing inconsistent ignition, but I personally tested that unit and know that it worked properly prior to shipping

I have never used one of these filters. I'm sure it does a good job of adding moisture, but it seems like it would clog very easily. Do you have to soak it in ISO? I like the idea of adding moisture at the intake (solves the clogging problem). I'm curious to know if it will be effective.

I have tried to do this with limited success. There are so many different shapes and sizes of bowls... it works great with some and not at all with others.

The new stems make a BIG difference... really glad you like it!! It was important to us (for safety reasons) that the Hammer turn off when you let go of the trigger. I have big hands and have found that holding the trigger with my index finger (instead of my thumb) can be more comfortable...
