Well I just received my VG coil in the post. Won't get to try it until Tuesday, as I've bought it to take to Amsterdam from the UK in a plane, so have decided to keep it unused till I get there. I have a lotus which I love so don't imagine I'll have too much problem getting the torch technique...

It is covered by warranty, yes (assuming the wood was from Epicvape and not a third party like snappo)...

@LazyVaper i (and others) use a rubber band wrapped round the dimmer dial to stop it being moved unintentionally. Mines fairly thick and twisted at the back of the dimmer, so on the front I have a strip running either side of the dial to stop it moving. Not as elegant as you ideas, but simple...

Well... I never "need" to purge (due to performance or whatever), just do out of habit I guess... Think I'll try skipping a few seeing as how others have good results without :tup:

I occasionally top up the torches I use for my Lotus. I use the honest torches that are the same as you get with the basic kit and have zero problems with them. What I do (and also after a full purge) is stick the torch in the freezer for an hour or so until it's nice and cold. The theory...

Lower heat/greater load distance from heat/faster draw speed/less product... I'd just turn it down a bit :tup:

^^^ this pretty much nails it. 7.5 would roast any load in one hit on my nano. More so if it's the first hit after the units been sitting for a while. My sweet spot usually lies between 6.5 and 7 (max) depending on the usual variables. My screens set a little deeper than the e-pick...
