That setup would be way overkill for a first time user. Even if you eventually end up getting all that you still need a more portable option. I would start with a Minicron or Omicron and 3.7v Kiss globe.

I don't have a herc but from looking at the teardown/cleaning videos I just know I would lose a small part or be too stoned to assemble that beast.

I have a Persei v3 that works great at 3.7v but it won't power on with 5 clicks at 7.4v using the included batteries. I am fine with 3.7v but is there any secret to getting 7.4v to work? Edit: just tried some different batteries and it seems to fire up at 7.4v using 18340 batteries.
