Ah, thanks for clarifying. I didn't know this was the case, I only began looking into StealthVape because it had been mentioned so many times in this thread.
Doesn't seem to load any longer but you can see screen caps by hovering over the progress bar.
For a laugh, look at the suggested videos on the right side.
I don't know if this was mentioned but I haven't seen any reference. How will Grasshopper repairs be handled?
I know that VXL learned a lot about making units repair friendly from their first generation model. How modular will the heater design be?
Really guys, it all boils down to this: the Grasshopper is paving new ground in the dry herb pen market. Many have tried it, most have failed. Those that have succeeded in bringing a dry herb pen-style vaporizer to market have had to make design sacrifices in the name of battery life, vaporizing...
How an you possibly hope to have an intelligent discussion when your primary tactic is name calling and mud slinging?
The argument that "it's just weed maaaaaan" is irrelevant. This is a medical device industry whether you like it or not.
The discussion here isn't whether there should be beta...
Before I get crucified for saying this, I'm an avid Apple enthusiast. That being said, ever buy a first generation Apple product? Welcome to the beta test crew =P
I LOVE these entries guys, keep it up! It really makes me feel warm and tingly inside to see you guys really getting into the spirit of these contests. :luv:
To imply that the lack of a precedent is a compelling argument not to break the mold goes in the face of every major development in history.
Where was the precedent for Brown v. Board of Education? Was it Plessy v. Ferguson which ruled that segregation in public buildings was constitutionally just?
That's for putting this contest together @Deadshort480 and thank you for making this possible @underdog & @underdogette.
While most of the action is behind the scenes, we spend months coordinating to bring these contests to the FC community and couldn't have done in without the trust and...
It's easy to be negative when you've been jaded by poorly produced and assembled crowd sourced consumer electronics.
By no means do I want others to mirror my negativity. But remember, there is little to no accountability with crowd funding.
If I didn't trust the Grasshopper team to take care...
A bit hazzy from some Ambien so dorfoce anything unintelligible.
Sounds like the problem is too late too little. Had there been a call to arms to get these things reviewed. It would have happened. People would have pooled cash, nominates reviewers, etc.
You're saying that we shouldn't expect to have pre shipment item reviews because the precedent has yet to be set.
Why don't we break the mold?
How much would I need to contribute to get an acceptable quantity of review units made and shipped. How many review units will Grasshopper designate?
