I like that idea, unfortunately its not available to "the masses."
What about laying the wire flat on the pad (hopefully not snapping it in the process) and covering it with a non-conductive high temp epoxy? That way the connection won't stress at the pad. You may need to find a way to...
Sounds like a plausible weak link, and if that connection fails, the heater burns out as well. I think that the best course of action is to either cross your fingers and hope for longevity or to reinforce the connections before they go. I've been looking into conductive, high temperature epoxies...
These are some of the preview shots I took of the Cloud Evo on Saturday along with some close-up shots. @S1N3 and @Deadshort480 can chime in and help answer any questions you guys may have about the pictures.

My grinder doesn't look like that either, but I've seen others that have looked similar.
In my opinion, it really comes down to what is being put through the grinder as well as how the grinder is being treated. Since I don't want to accuse anybody of mishandling their grinder, I try to stick to...
Ah, I see where you're coming from now. You can rest assured that it isn't going to start degrading faster due to the finish wearing down. Your grinder isn't going to start shedding "way more metal" due to this either.
Some grinders are sold without an anodized finish at all (silver Space...
You're talking about two different things here, the finish wearing down and the function of the grinder. Since you mentioned that the grinder works "amazing" functionally, I'm sure that you can expect many years of use out of it. Certainly more than a year.
This is going to happen with any...
I use a medium SCS to pregrind ~2g at a time. The center holding chamber can hold 3.5g easily, but you'll want to load the top grinding chamber loosely (depending on the density of the herb) for the best results. I'd say do two 1.75g runs or three ~1.2g runs.
@Live-N-Learn Its kind of hard to...
The ZP/Grasshopper team lost a lot of exposure when they had to change their name, and not everybody who may have contributed to their crowd funding campaign is aware of their resurrection. Luckily the old URL redirects to their new site, but I think its still down to word-of-mouth to make sure...
It may be worth seeing if they'll extend a better offer once they're back on solid ground. That may involve waiting a month or two. I firmly believe that VapeXhale will do right by the folks who've had issues in the past that haven't been resolved, they just need to make sure that "opening the...
Take lots of pictures for everyone when you get it! It's a fantastic looking piece.
Edit: Don't forget about @doubledipVRB he's our behind the scenes wizard!
I believe in you Richy! You can do it! Make me proud! Think of the children! Make your son proud!
Have I motivated you yet? I'll accept pictures with trick-or-treating pups, with a name like Richy, who'd say no?
