IMHO that bar needs to be good riddens and an increased circumference such as a tiny snap on washer at the groove on the bowl added as a stopper. You will see pics of my modified PD soon. Im such a trouble maker. :)

It's definitely not too hot bc the herb does not overvaporize when the bar is not touched.

I've never experienced 'gumming up' and I use the polished aluminum not the titanium. 10 years of daily sometimes hourly grinding with the stickiest kush money can buy. There is residue but nothing that builds up or should cause sticking.
