    The Screwball by Vapvana

Why not just heat your screwball upside down and put the bowl on top? 15 seconds of heat soaking will not add any significant conduction. It will be easily overwhelmed by the convection currents. I did several experiments with diffusers and heat soaking much longer and found that any heat that...

    Thermal Twist Ball-less Injector Vape

I've never had hot balls fall out of any vape lol. And they don't glow, sadly. 😄 I can't imagine the accident it would take to cut open the stainless Zeal for example. The cheapest I've seen the thermal twist is $180 for the complete kit. As you said there are some ball vape kits for less, but...

Ball vape with ss balls and induction heating

This is not a complete enail PID controller. You'll have to wire it up to an XLR connector etc. I am not certain from the rest of this thread if that is your intention, but it is definitely something one could do. You'll want to wire it up in a way that matches your enail coils of course.

You'd probably want the buffer bobbin for it, just in case.

I'm not totally clear what you are saying about the Omega one? The Omega works with injector bowls with 14mm and 18mm inputs. It also works with 22mm diffuser bowls. It does work with the SKO bowl, although that one is not my favorite. The phase3 and CouchLog glass bowls are better. I haven't...

    Phase3 Vaporizers

Just one caveat, the 14mm opening is very near the size of the ZX nozzle. If you are using a cold Vulcan it could get stuck. I haven't had it happen to me but I thought I would mention it. If you heat the Vulcan (with another coil) that will eliminate that chance of sticking.

No. But it does work extremely well with 22mm diffusers.

Yep. That was fixed by CH later. They now only have rubies in the coil area. Edited to add: https://www.cannabishardware.com/blogs/ch/bzero

I agree with @coolbreeze that the ZX is probably a better option now. The CouchLog and Omega are also fantastic 14mm options (my preference). The SKO has the same problem that the original B0 had. The rubies below the coil cool quickly and make the experience uneven. There is a mod using a...

Modified Table tops vs Ball Vapes

You'll find some folks who have both (like @coolbreeze ) but I think they serve different audiences. I have no interest in using whips. I like having the ability to use all my glass. I prefer the customizability and flexibility of ball vapes. And they are just more powerful. I do love log...

    Weed Vaping Review site

For me, all the people whose opinions I trust about vapes are on this site. Nearly all of the vape reviewers in YouTube and other sites are not really useful to me. And they tend to only review the vapes they get for free, or that provide them with affiliate codes. Vapes in that category tend to...

Crossing tech makes the PID controller that comes with the screwball kit. I can see how my message was confusing. I was saying that your conclusion that one PID was better than the other for new vapers was odd, and doesn't match my experience. The wrong ideas in this thread are that the...

I think that's an odd conclusion. They are just different. Obviously people reach a lot of wrong ideas about the screwball in this thread because the crossing PID doesn't show live updates near the set temperature. Similar to the offset for DC PID controllers. It's not wrong for ball vapes...

Ah of course I forgot. We're a one pin out household so I forget folks have both around. The Auber RDK 300B shows live temperature changes. I thought that the xmt7200 controllers (in the CH, CC, maybe the q-shop) did too. I do not have one of those to verify.
