    Tinymight2 Bad Smell

Back in the day, a complaint of a fishy smell from the wood was common. This was due to the oil used on the wood. To my knowledge, Tinymight stopped using that oil back in the OG days. Anyway, the smell complaint was pretty common at the time, especially on Reddit.

    Does anyone do Z repairs?

I can't really do anything to recover your account myself. Just to start, I'd say make sure you are using the email address you used to create your account and check your spam folder. I'll check with the admins to see if there is an issue with emails from the site. Edited to add: I verified the...

    Does anyone do Z repairs?

I'm assuming you mean RBT Zion heater vapes? If so I think the answer is still the same as the last time you asked: https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/anyone-doing-splinter-zion-and-z-repairs-around-this-place.53558/

    The Screwball by Vapvana

I think the Screwball is great. But what you are describing is true of all diffuser heads. I would also go so far as to say you are depriving yourself of some vapor by preheating your cannabis this way. Every convection vape has some conduction and radiant heat. The difference is if it is...

I was hoping this would work when I bought the TA!

The radiant heat from the vape head is going into the flower in the bowl. Have a look at my pictures linked above. The glass bowl has much darker, nearly combusted duff. How do you explain that with conduction?

The Vulcan is also a great bowl if you don't use it coiled. It just doesn't add conduction in the same way in my experience. Although I think eventually iDB will offer a kit with the Vulcan assembly, coil, and PID controller. So there is no harm in waiting (except shipping, customs, etc...)

That is for folks who already have the 14/18mm adapters from their Omega. The full assembly has the adapters included. I have not found that heat soaking a bowl adds any significant conduction. Definitely not enough to overcome the convection currents. But using the Vulcan with an enail coil...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

I found that the best method for vapor production is the half bowl setting. Although I do like other bowls better than the Vapvana bowl. It's a great bowl, well suited for the Screwball, but I like my other diffuser bowls a bit more. Also, if you have a wireless tko, the Vapvana bowl works well...

If this were true the glass bowl would then be the best for your use case. For metal bowls it actually sinks the heat away from the bowl into the joint. Quite easy to measure that with a probe thermometer. It's not conduction, but if you like it you should keep at it I do own a screwball. I...

If you look through that CH thread I linked you'll see no one is heat soaking with material. Maybe that's the cool thing with the kids today. If you leave it on your bowl for 5 minutes you won't see any vapor escaping but if you hit it after that time you will not get any vapor. Where did it...

Oh ok. I misunderstood when you said Anyway if you enjoy heat soaking go for it. But there is no meaningful conduction being added here. There are heated bowls for ball vapes. Those definitely add conduction!

Typically when people talk about heat soaking a bowl, they do it before loading. Are you also soaking with weed in the bowl? It would never occur to me to do that as it would be just wasting my cannabis. This is another reason to ignore duff color when judging the efficiency of a vape. Vapor...

    The Screwball by Vapvana

Wait you are soaking the bowl with material inside? That's not bowl conduction. That's heat escaping from the head pre-vaping your weed for you. You can see this happen with any ball vape. You won't even have to draw. Try it with a glass bowl and you'll see an even more pronounced effect. This...

    Chaos by Phattpiggie

A couple of us had this problem. Some of the TA adapters are not the right size and get stuck. Mine came out because I was already paranoid from a friend's getting stuck. So I had not really forced it and did not use the clip. It was still a struggle. I believe my friend had to send it back to...

I have heat soaked it the typical way (vape on the bowl for a few minutes before loading). I found no impact on the conduction from the Vapvana bowl. I will have to repeat my CH SH experiments to see if there is something else going on. Maybe the gem cut rubies. I have found that air can't move...

I don't mean to discourage experiments! That's 1/2 of the fun of vaping for me! I just don't think that one does anything for conduction. But I do wonder if heating the SB up attached to the bowl initially adds anything. Although the bowl handle might get really hot!
