If you blow through the joint, you don't have to worry about nasty fumes. I've done this with ISO to get some nasties out with the turbulance of the frit.

I think I remember it was frowned upon due to the different thermal expansion properties of the two different materials. You would have TI threading into SS, and its my understanding that could cause issues. Someone will correct if I'm wrong.

The spring built in to the Cera and other ecig type power handles have a collapsible hot spring that will collapse at a certain temperature(?), and disconnect the battery from the top. I think its incase your battery goes rogue, and starts effing shit up(technical term).

Thanks VaporEyes. I guess I always seem to over tax my vapes when I first get them... Has anyone had luck with the basket w/o the silicon cone? It seems to me that loading directly in the chamber would call for more clean up than I like.
