    The Lotus Vaporizer

With a slightly larger diameter screen you can dome the screen a bit to open up some space under the screen to improve airflow. You lose a bit of capacity due to dead space under the screen but it is worth it with more even flow across the entire bowl and less green bits around the bottom edge...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Thanks for the sale Max. We appreciate you looking after us loyal customers on this board with the holiday sale codes. I took advantage and ordered a replacement shorty for one I loaned to a friend and a couple hot plates and lighters. Lusted after the Vaporscope but couldn't justify any more...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

I've never found a cheap straight (phrasing) lighter that worked decently and never bought one online because it seems it would just be weird and awkward to use. Am I just plain wrong? Also, is the fuel level in the tank visible? Is the child-lock feature a fiddly pain? Can it be comfortably...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Welcome aboard. Coming from using restrictive draw portables like the Solo helps with the initial learning curve immensely. Had a similar experience a few years back and haven't purchased a non-Lotus vaporizer since, although I have used/lost/given away a quiver of Lotii setups. This vape has...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

My Lotus use over the last several years is spread over 3 or 4 different caps, vaping flower most of the time and normally consume somewhere in the range of 1-2 grams a week. Seems like I burn through about a cap every 8-10 months or so, a bit more than one a year. I have always had warning...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Iirc Max has offered to replace them at no or nominal charge so I would probably order a new lighter from MT and ask if they will throw a set of rings in. Truth be told, I would more likely just use it as an excuse to buy another Lotus but that's just me. Otherwise, find the good hardware store...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Pace yourself... I rarely use my wpa any more and usually just opt for either a shorty or long stem. Broke my j-hook a few months in and never bothered replacing it. The visual vapor production was nice at first but I prefer the instant, low volume feedback and nimble "feel" of the aluminum...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Welcome aboard, Im a bit envious to be honest. I have yet to buy another vape since I started buying Lotii. The latest fun thing to do is a bit of nice gorilla glue flower saturated with some nice gorilla glue "terp sauce" with 10% terps. Fantastic.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Ha, just had to replace one today. Only the third burnout in two (or is it three) years of almost exclusive lotus use spread over a number of lotii caps. Just to be clear, the caps do need to be replaced once they crack but it happens slowly enough that if you don't have a spare on hand, it's...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

The hot plates get increasingly creased and wrinkled (oilcanned) with the expansion/contraction of repeated use and eventually tend to crack. Not a huge deal and it happens very gradually. Both caps work well. The original might be a little faster and the high-temp are able to handle continuous...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Nice work on the reverse taper, will be sure to pick one up next time I make an order. Every time I notice a cool little bubbler at a weed store that looks like it would be perfect for the lotus it ends up being a dab rig. Judging from the photo, I go with the handle. Not a big fan of the look...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Over time they do get a bit torched on the inside with heavy use and that one does look like it got excessively hot although the damage looks superficial. I don't remember any of my interior plates (with the ring of holes) being discolored like that but that could just be the photo. Id probably...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Clicked in the Sticky Brick video. Looked pretty cool, unique design, nice looking wood, stainless and glass vapor path, convection, magnets!! hmm, what is this? intriguing... and then he lights a torch and proceeds to suck the flame straight into the vapor path into his lungs. Eww my visceral...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

No need, use a little bit of iso and just rinse the stem out in the sink. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 4/20 sale.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Good to see some new converts. Yep, unground is great. Break it up a bit, take a hit or two to toast and de-carb things, flip the payload into the palm of your hand, run the bottom of the stem over it and suck it back into the bowl. Repeat as necessary. Best vape there is for a quick flower session.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

I meant to reply to this but it slipped my mind. I am a hiker/trailrunner and have used the underwhelming Pax2 and it is not even in the same league. They are stealthy for sure but being a Washington State resident I'm not willing to forgo the taste and power of the Lotus for stealth. I...

High-temp black on turquoise on a long-stem would be sexy.

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Lol, that's what I thought as well. Well, you know, one long-stem for the couch , one shorty for trail running/hiking, one shorty for out and about and a wpa. My j-hook suffered from a rapid disassembly event a while back and is no longer functional. I would probably pick up an extra torch or...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

Don't really remember how well the stock screens held up but looked around and found some stainless screens in a local retail mj store (yeah Washington State) that were quite a bit stiffer than the normal ones and once installed haven't had to be replaced over a year. The aluminum stems are...

    The Lotus Vaporizer

No, posted October 2014. All four of my caps have screens. Dome a 3/4" round fine stainless screen by pressing over the bowl of your stem and wiggle it in the cap with the pointy side facing in and it will set in place. My trail running lotus has many hundreds of miles of rough service and I...
