I've had my Solo plugged into the charger virtually 24/7 since October 2011 with absolutely no problems. The only time its off the charger is when I'm using it. As soon as I get home I plug it in. If I'm home and do a quick load I plug it back in as soon as I'm done.

Yoshi, when I got my M104 and took it up skiing my friends were all blown away by it so they all bought their own (one of em bought two so he has a back up). If we are out for an overnight or two we're usually good to go. Sounds like your friends need to get their own as well so you can keep the...

Thanks OF, glad you're around to figure this out. I've been wondering about solar chargers but was never sure if they had the ability to do the job but still fit in a backpack. I'm usually out with a couple of friends who all have Solos so we take em all.

OF, are there any solar battery chargers available that can safely meet the Solo's charging requirements that c_for needs for his trip?

Brigger, For my Solo stem I use a 1/2" stainless steel medium to fine mesh screen. 1/2" = 12.7mm so I would imagine a 13mm SS screen would do you just fine. I slightly dome the screen over the end of a Sharpie marking pen. Put the screen dome side up into the glass stem bowl and tamp slightly...

Tommy Chong, Cancer Free with Hash Oil and Special Diet

Absolutely correct. Anecdotal evidence tends to raise more questions such as if hash oil cured his prostate cancer but he's been consuming huge amounts of cannabis for about 50 some odd years, then why did he develop the cancer in the first place? Cannabis truly needs to be reclassified so...

I would ask for a replacement since it is brand new and under warranty before you start tearing the Solo apart. My first M104 was a stinker that smelled like a Marks A Lot magic marker. As that Solo was heating up you could smell that smell throughout the house. Randy from Puffitup replaced that...

Yes they are, pre-load and slip the cap over the bowl and you are good to go, but...and this is a big but, go to Home Depot and buy 1/2" screw covers in the "specialty drawers" in the nuts and bolts aisle. .74 cents for two of them and they are the same cap.

I think we are being lured to the darkside of the force. Doesn't that Hi-saber belong to Darth Maul? Those are his colors after all. I believe this is the birth of the Sith Lord Hi-saber. Very dangerous this one is...

Unplug the VVPS from the wall socket and unscrew the four screws that hold the VVPS cover in place. Take the VVPS cover off. The inside of the phono jacks are usually open so you should be able to get a pair of needle nosed pliers in there and back out the broken phono plug. You will need to...

Quick cap source: 1/2" Screw covers at Home Depot in the specialty drawers in the screw aisle. 2 in a package for 74 cents. Don't have my HI yet but they do work great on my Solo stems.

Back in the camping section of Walmart where the backpacks are, they have 2 different sized neoprene bottle coozies, large and small. I use the smaller one which costs about $4. It is not a tight fit but the Solo slides in easy and the stem sticks out by about 3" or so. I punched a small 3/8"...

Mt Rose usually but I get around. You will like how well the Solo works up here. I bought a small fannie pack from Walmart, padded the hell out of it with 1/4" foam padding doubled up on both sides of the pack, then carry the Solo inside placed into the small neoprene coozie. I carry the stem in...
