With the indica your much better off with 1 fully packed oven used 3-4 times as opposed to packing a small load 3-4 times. Much thicker vapor this way. :razz:

Yes round screens work fine. I like to lay one flat on top of the oven instead of in the mouthpiece.

Personally I prefer the the flavor of the indica over the solo. The solo also irritates my throat slightly. I think its because of increased amount of air? Whatever it is I don't get that with my Indica or vapir2. That said I still find my solo enjoyable and use it often, just not my favorite.

The black unit looks sweet, If my replacement unit holds up (which will tell me they have the bugs worked out) I'll be getting one for sure.

The best thing to do is contact mike via pm here, which you've already done. I believe he said he would be offline till September 1. Sounds like you have the same issue I had with my first unit, also purchased early spring. He's well aware of the issue with that batch.

While a fine grind with dry tightly packed erb seems to work best, just as an experiment, I tried a coarse grind with fairly moist erb, and a loose full pack...nice clouds... Just when I think I got it all figured out...:hmm: :peace:

Ok I've had mine few days now and here's my pros/cons review. I'll start with the con as I like a happy ending:ko: Cons: There's a fairly strong odor (typical robot fart) smell when new. I cleaned with ISO and did a few burn offs. The smell was similar to my indica when new, it does go away...

Mine had visible fumes for a couple minutes during initial burnoff. I then did another burnoff with no fumes. It had a new electronic smell that took about a week to disapate. Are you sure this isn't what your experiencing? Anything new and electronic will smell ....new an electronic. Indica...

Did I hear magnetic oven door? That's a nice upgrade! I think some stoner mentioned it would be a good idea when commenting on the first model awhile back...

Good to know yours looks OK so far, mine should be here any day from same place at about the same time so my experience should be similar, will report on it. .

Pack then pack again. For me so far it seems the more tightly packed the erb and more I use the better.

Do you pack the oven to the top then press one spacer on it? You should get decent clouds on green/purple this way. The spacer is heated by the oven and helps vaporize the contents at the top.

I feed my ABV to my worms. This makes them horny and hungry. Horny worms make more worms. Hungry worms make more castings. Earthworm castings might be the best thing you could put in an organic garden. The circle of life is a beautiful thing. I'm high.
