    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

I found this article informative regarding affect of temperature on batteries. I thinking replacing the torx screws with these magnets and installing battery tabs would be a great way to swap batts eliminating the hour wait for a complete recharge. Youtube has videos providing handy tips on how...

    Crafty/Crafty+ by Storz & Bickel

Some initial thoughts on crafty, Scratches Since it was mentioned removing the bottom screen scratches the inner walls I tried using a ceramic screen from vapor bros, it fits almost perfect but doesn't go all the way down, and your max temp is decreased. using the supplied brush and a coarse...

I realized I don't even need a battery pack since I always have a dual 18650 ecig/oil vape on me with a micro usb port, I just need this cable (along with the regular micro usb cable)

Sweet, since they are in stock I'm going down to the warehouse to pick one up in person, thanks for the heads up!

The vape critics review mentions that quickly pressing the power button resets the shutoff timer without shutting it off.

I was describing a DC powered device that could be hidden in the palm of my hand, connected by a cable that obviously runs up my sleeves because I'm in Canada, with unlimited runtime on the go. Unfortunately the plenty is AC powered and is gigantic. However your post did lead me to find this...

All this talk of low battery life and need for external power packs makes me want a crafty/mighty without batteries that is strictly the heater/control portion running in pass-through off a standard 12v/10amp power supply, I'm hoping it would be called the 'handy'. As well as working on ac power...

Maybe one day knowing that the crafty uses a PT1000 temperature sensor will come in handy, thanks.

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

In other cera related news, I killed my loose leaf cart using it on my boxmod. I'm guessing it may have something to do with the lack of internal resistance compared to the cera (1.5ohms for the switch, 1.5ohms for the body). The coil ended up popping, only a few days after mentioning it would...

    Fast Extracting Portable vaporizer

I would avoid any vape that claims to be 'portable' yet requires watertools to give you lung busting hits..at that point you might as well be using a desktop if the watertool is a requirement.

    Discontinued Thermovape Cera

Interesting, I was just thinking about this very thing today... We bought a product with a 'lifetime warranty' and now the company no longer exists. I still love the LL cart and made a boxmod for it. I would really hate to no longer be able to use it if it stops working. It would be great if...

Happy days! I hope this is the end of the story :) Was thinking after this it would be nice to have an IP68 rated vape, something that works properly after being submerged. But what if Apple and Google helped the NSA and then NSA helped DEA/Local law enforcement wouldn't that be crazy?

Good man, I would be interested to know what they end up charging for a repair as it would be useful info to anyone considering this vape. So far all we know is to replace a battery is $50. I'm hoping a lot of the cost is in the R&D and the service, and that parts aren't that outrageously...

I wonder if they have liquid damage indicators in them, and also wondering what the warranty policy is if you a) admit to breaking it or b) plead ignorance

Vaping on someone elses brand new $400 device over an open toilet bowl seems like a fantastic idea, if you like to live dangerously

May or may not be relevant to the crafty, but I know that on my boxmods which run on lithium batts with a built in charger (1a/5v) there is less voltage sag under load when the charger is connected, meaning a slightly higher output power. The battery +/- are both connected to the charger as well...

What's everyone's favourite desktop oil vaporizer and why?

I don't personally have a unit from aliexpress, I used this thread to build one. At the time coil heaters alone were $120, now you can get the whole unit including coil heater prebuilt for $120 from aliexpress, or spend a bit more and build your own. A digital nail will be better than an analog...

What's everyone's favourite desktop oil vaporizer and why?

I prefer using a proper oil rig above all else, you just can't beat the flavor/vapor density. Since it sounds like you got that covered the only way you can improve is with an e-nail and a carb cab for those tasty low temp dabs. aliexpress has digital enails (with coil heater) for $120 if you...
