Cool video. A heat gun/hairdryer works a lot better than a knife to remove the sticker, no adhesive residue left behind , stick it on wax paper and keep it safe if warranty service is ever needed.
77 hours here and working great. The plastic holding the cooling unit broke off the outer edge while gently cleaning the bowl with the brush (known issue with first batch units). The cooling unit still locks into place and creates a seal. Not sure why everyone was bugging out about that, it...
Looking forward to the rave reviews of all the happy backers who gladly waited years for a pen that claims to output 30watts of power for 3 hours.:worms:
I'm thinking this vape will appeal to people who love the MFLB (aka low tolerance), and guys who love pens.
The PT100 temperature sensor is shrink wrapped to the battery. As Li-Ion batteries age they run warmer as a result of rising internal resistance due to usage. Since the microcontroller has min and max temp limits as defined by the battery manufacturer, for this issue to be addressed would...
The restricted airflow works better with (small volume) hydratubes, and the open airflow works better with (large volume) bubblers, was what someone mentioned a while back, and I agree.
I recently switched back from the EVO to the ticker, and it's much better...way better airflow and wider temperature range, the only downside is it gets quite hot after a while.
I agree with tuk, this information is not relevant in the context of discussing vaporization, unless your looking for special treatement, in which case I'll take some too.

I have a friend who recently picked up a bunch of this stuff, and is having great success with it. The fact it's legal and (somewhat) readily available is nice.

The taste of a brand new vape can come from a variety of sources, such as the oils/residue on the hands/gloves of the guy packaging your device. To automatically assume the source is the decomposition of the materials used to manfacture the device is a bit of a stretch.
and the MSDS for the...
I don't get it...it's an e-cig that uses proprietary preloaded tobacco cartridges? I've never heard a single vaper wishing that they had a device that forced them to buy the consumable items from a specific pre-approved vendor before.
Can't speak for others but generally DIY is interesting if there are savings to be had, if I can get something ready made for cheaper than building it, it becomes less interesting unless I feel like learning how to build it for fun. The heated vacuum chamber looks great  I'm guessing it...
