The voltage has to stay constant anything 6 volts and over cause the unit to go running red light. Still struggling to find something that will power the unit directly.

I just hooked it to a computer power supply which is rated 5volts 18amp max. Wont run straight off the power, but it looks like its charging!

I tried 5 volts 1 amp and just get blue single flashes. I tried 6 volts 1.5 amp and get running yellow lights. My last one charged fine off the computer. Unless they changed something not sure why this one would be any different.

Looks like things are finally moving at Vapor blunt. They came through and are shipping me a pinnacle for the battery problems. Hope everyone else gets their issues worked out.

If the charger supplies 1.5 amps per usb, but not likely. I tried this attempt, few pages earlier, on many different usb chargers and none had enough amperage.

That's how I used mine. Lower temps with no water. Usually less that 2 hour charge time
