This should be interesting. Most of us got attached to Solo before Air existed. It'll be interesting to see how you 'take' to the pair of them at the same time. Both, I think, are excellent vapes, and are quite similar but there are differences. Please keep us informed? TIA OF

The rectangular (not square) white thing on the right is the actuator on the switch. It should indeed click and otherwise control the unit, the button that pokes through the case is just a keytop. A mechanical spacer. These sorts of switches do fail, as yours seems to have. The only useful...

Agreed. Then again, I suspect they feel their target customer (LHS owners) want just that? Something they can 'pawn off' on their customers easily making at least as much profit on a much easier (and more common) sale? OF

Age of the FC Community plus a lot of nostalgia

The first computers I used (aside from the big mainframes in college) were PDP8s. You'd boot up off punched tape (no floppies yet, nor hard drives for small computers?). Then you'd set the boot address with a row of paddle handle toggles (in binary of course), push the button and pray. I/O...

Honest answer? Nope. A convenience at best and an unnecessary way to draw heat out of the load (exactly the opposite of what we want) IMO. ESV works just fine without it (or they'd include it in the design/package). I too may get one to try someday, but not any time soon I'm thinking...

Not practically AFAIK. And you'd still need to compress/cool it. Methane you can get to, but it gets tough after that. Best to drill for it...... However most any suitable fuel (including Methane and Ethanol) can be made to burn in an appropriate rig. Or gasoline/kerosene in a pump up...

Actually I think it matters a lot from at least two 'angles'. First off, Dealer Agreements often contain terms like the Distributor or Dealer assuming the costs of warranty replacements. As we all know, shipping and customs can be a serious problems sometimes if the original 'deal' included...

Are you sure they're not biologically still girl scout cookies? That is they just didn't wake up feeling masculine and want, no make that demand their right, to use the boy's rest room? Next they'll demand to go camping with the boys and openly gay scout masters and stuff? Perhaps they're...

Good show some of our fellows volunteer to explore such fringe areas. There are risks, many of those extra hassle/delay but eventually 'coming out right', some fatal in that you never 'get what you paid for'. So I'm grateful for guys that take extra risks and share their experiences with us...

To us and others like us perhaps, but it's also likely to be logical from another POV. Not that I'm saying what, or even if, that's what's happening here, it's just that sometimes 'obsolete' stuff has a life of it's own. There are still a HUGE number of Solos that are in service and...

No way Charlie, IMO. I sure wouldn't hold my breath. To be able to use a PA you'd have to modify the Solo. We 'demanded' "use while charging", and that's what we got instead of what they originally designed. More owners probably use that function (use while charging) than did PAs I'd think...

Bummer. I'm sure it'll be resolved, but it might take a bit. As a suggestion, take a clear photo of the envelope (showing label) with just the grinder. The boxed ESV is 3 X 5 X 8 inches, not e asy to overlook... Offer to email them the photo. Suggest they should send it out today premium...

Do you have an accurate scale? One that will read say .01 gram steps? Weigh the lighter 'empty' and use that weight. They typically hold a few grams and work 'fairly normally' down to .25 or so. Just weigh it from time to time and top it up when it gets close. Knowing how much it weights...

Yep. That's who I'd go to if I couldn't rebuild my own.....which I can, so I don't. But I would, if I couldn't. You can rebuild them if you're handy in general and can solder at Intermediate or better level. I posted the procedure with a few photos a while back. But you need to buy special...

I tried several caps, but went back to cases. These are my favorite type: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008HL8CW2?keywords=18650 cases&qid=1447011005&ref_=sr_1_5&sr=8-5 If you want to be truly serious, these are water tight, although a bit bigger and harder to open/close...

I've found one rule, that if strictly enforced, will all but eliminate that. Make sure all the guys sharing the session are inside the car. It's those passes up and down at speed that leads to accidents. Every once in a while you'll come across a guy that just can't get it through his head...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

You can open it up (screws under the sliding doors) but the battery is soldered in. This means not only being able to solder at least at the Intermediate level but you need to find the right size battery, without protection, with welded tabs. They are around, but not all that easy to get...
