If I could only have one it would be the Solo. That being said, I'm glad I am not limited to just one. Current lineup for portables is Solo for visiting friends or hanging on the deck. Thermovape for stealth and WIPSR for extended trips where I cannot recharge the Solo.

You have the new version Scottio. The stem should work with your if I'm not mistaken. Dave should chime in and confirm.

Was there a particular reason you switch to the thinner walled core tubing? I like both but was just wondering if there was a reason for the switch.

@Barca Dave's glass stems come with a different size 3/8" tubing which has a thinner wall. It is much more flexible and able to stretch while still making a nice seal. This is what use for all my glass connections. I only use the regular stems when doing dry hits. I buy the tubing in 3'...

Yeah you right Darkrom! I need a new glass stem as my other one was on the coffee table and one sweep of my dogs tail sent it crashing to the floor. Hopefully Dave will get some new 3/8 custom glass stems soon. Can't wait to see the Lignum Vitae and Sumac Dave!

I use a 4 piece Sharpstone and it has served me well for the price. I actually prefer it over my Diamond.
