Hey polvoman,I think the air is quite a good bit of kit. Basically a smaller solo but I only use it occasionally, my main portable is crafty and although the air is good it doesn't compare. The crafty is like a portable evo!

Yes I believe it to be far superior to ascent. The taste is great and the clouds are too. You don't have to learn how to use it like an ascent either. It has a nice free draw like ascent but clouds more like solo :)
