I remember you mentioning the tabs however when i ordered an extra battery with my ff2 it uses the same part # as the original ff did on their site. Also in the vape critic review you can see the battery basically looks the same I see no tab on it anywhere

I just got the app to play with on my phone and can confirm that it just lets you pick these options for heater activation: Both button Left button Right button Either button but its easily updatable via software to have a # of presses to up temps etc

I still use and enjoy my original FF, other than the issues with batteries (I have a few that are wonky) I have had no problems. Most issues seem to stem from not keeping the unit clean and I for one clean at least the lid after every 4-5 uses with ISO and brush the heater out after every use...

True @pakalolo , plus I would assume each unit could have slight variance in temps too so a 3 on one could be a 2.5 on another. Once getting used to the Zion I assume any point of reference you use would work for setting the temp. I hope to find out soon Does anyone have experience with these...
