    Pen Imag Plus

Days later? Easy way around that, don't avoid vaping...... Many of us just don't share that experience. I suggest posting that on 'ask FC' would get more useful feedback? Otherwise, I agree. Imag+ is good 'first vape' to recommend. It's a solid example of that class of similar units from...

    The Arizer Air

Not to confuse peak with average. Solo runs around 16 Watts cold, progressively less as it heats down to something like like 14 when on. Duty cycle further reduces the average. Air would be basically the same at half the voltage and twice the current. From an engineering POV you don't really...

    The Arizer Air

Bad advice, IMO. I bought such a unit to check out and found it seriously wanting. There are a couple of posts about it in this thread and on the Counterfeit Forum. Genuine units with excellent warranty are available for (IMO) reasonable prices, this is false economy. Randy will price match...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Welcome to the forum, glad you're enjoying your new Ascent, it's a good one for sure. Some problems early on that seem to be 'ironed out' in current units. Great idea with the crystals. Others have used refined crystals with some success. Be sure to try the glass flowers as they have an...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

I don't know 'em, but they clearly know........ Glad you know all about it, although I don't think MFLB is a good model in this case. Your call. I tried to say the screens are very common, and generally not a problem, but I guess that's not the answer you wanted. Good luck in your...

    Vapman

That could be a problem, running afoul of hazards regulations. Even in very small quantities waxes typically contain solvents of concern to some countries. A real mine field I think. You might be able to skate around it with solid waxes (stick form) but they're a PITA to use. The official...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

I think you can claim you know what the draw resistance is in other models, but that doesn't mean much WRT the best draw speed. This is not blazing, where pulling harder makes the fire hotter and makes more vapor. Here drawing in more (cold) air simply dilutes the vapor and robs some of the...

    Arizer Solo

Not to be too critical, but a real friend would trade his nasty old dirty stem for one of your clean ones? What are friends really for........ Sorta. I've been thinking about this for a while off and on. Yes, it does back up at least some of the anecdotal evidence/experience it comes way...

    Vapman

While 'dry firing' shouldn't cause a problem past wearing it out a bit, the fact it was empty can be a problem. Air in the tank (until it's all purged out) can dilute the gas too much to burn. You can hear a hiss, but it won't strike. You should never let it run dead dry for that reason...

    The Arizer Air

I second the 'stick to the OEM part' advice, as do many others. Our very own CentiZen did a lot of research on this very topic and reports while all batteries are not alike, the OEM is probably the best choice of any (Arizer did a good engineering job.....go figure). Some are worse than others...

    Arizer Solo

I think you've done your part already, OK to sit this one out. Good tip on the tube, but I fear it's undersize? 15mm might be a closer fit, but it's not a standard near as I can tell? OTOH, McMaster/Carr sells 9/16 OD tube (.563 inches) that's a tiny bit above 1/2 ID so standard (SAE) clips...

    Arizer Solo

Now you're talking! Or as they'd say 'now you're cooking with gas'....... I like it, but why not go half inch and seal to the OD of the chillum? Or 5/8, 3/4 whatever. That is not add any restriction and make it easier to connect to the chillum. I'm thinking about a SS tube .570 (or whatever...

Be careful what you wish for. Metal will conduct the heat upwards, like Ed's stems do now. Not that that's fatal, but it demands more care and more power. A wooden handle, that says cool, would be nice......which brings us back to Ed again? OF

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

I'm not so sure that's a problem as much as a feature. You can have that effect (no contact with the walls) with the glass flowers which IMO actually do a better job, probably due to more surface area in contact with herb and better distribution through the load, but are harder to load. But...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

My experience, and experiments, has me using either the glass flowers or factory spacers to counter the 'drop in temperature' issue. Independent of this, fast draws are a loser since they pull in useless cold air that robs heat that would otherwise make vapor. More volume, but thinner, is all...

    The Arizer Air

Yes, it's common based on the Airs I've seen. It has to do with how well the PCB lines up with the hole? The two I'm looking at right now have the jack off center, one more than the other. It's just a connector, as long as the plug fits well not to worry. Enjoy it, that's what it's made for...

    FlowerMate Vapormax V/V5.0/V5.0S/V5 Pro

Yes, two of them fit just fine. Although they rattle some.....and you then need a places to safely carry the stem..... Not to worry, the caps screw on quite well, they're not coming off by themselves. In fact they can even get a bit sticky with condensate and get 'glued' in place when cold...

    The Arizer Air

Entirely possible. If going for show (dense clouds) take it real slow? Give the vapor plenty of time to form and don't dilute it with a bunch of extra air....... Be sure to try both cold and warm water, many find warm more soothing (I suspect due to more moisture being added). OF

    The Arizer Air

Never even thought of it, truly scary! Got me to stop mid breath and feel the hair on the back of my neck stand up. "Danger, Will Robinson" for sure. There's solvents (you smell them sometimes?) inside a sealed can, basically a bomb. More over, a (small) bomb) in a fire....... When I was in...

    The Arizer Air

I'd missed that part, which means it's not CentiZen? He, after much research, bought the exact battery directly and offers that for sale. Therefore we can assume CZ didn't build the aftermarket battery packs for Solo so I'd steer way clear of them as well. There are lots of ways not to build...
