You might want to PM CentiZen, battery guru and all round good fellow. At one point he was making some well respected high capacity battery packs for Solo, higher than factory, puts new life in old Solos...... OF

It can vary a lot with battery charge. Using Solo as an example, typical currents are about two Amps. With a fresh battery, 8.4 Volts, this is 16.4 Watts. But at say 3.6 Volts per cell, 7.2 Volts total the current will have dropped to (7.2/8.4) times the original, now 1.7 Amps (down about...

Are you sure about that heat up time claim? I just ran a Solo (to step 4) against my Air (to step 3), each with a 'half charged battery. Solo beat Air by 25 seconds. The Solo had reheated twice by the time Air made temperature. They are both fast, plenty fast enough for most, but IMO Solo is...

Exactly so, which is why I said "then plug your charge cable into it" not 'then plug your Air.....'. Charge cable, USB on one end, 'Air connector' on the other. Either the factory part (car charger) or one of the 'known working ones' from this thread......like...

I don't understand the question. You don't "test the AA battery", rather measure the recharging? To do so you charge through it (the only way to measure current, it has to flow through the metering device) when "You plug it into a USB port (or charger) via the short cable, then plug your...

    Arizer Solo

Bummer. Either technique will kill a stem (if Ataxian isn't handy.....), my money's on the torch. My bet is by rapidly heating the mouth area it expanded (as a ring) faster than the web where the holes are could. The walls expanded faster than the bottom of the bowl. This normally happens...

Yes, leave the cotton in. Upside down the cap has a trap to keep melted wax out of the works......hopefully. It works fine....... OF

    The Arizer Air

Sure, but not directly. Charge it until it stops then discharge them a bit right away? If a full charge is about 60 minutes, you'd want about 6 minutes or so? Just be sure to be standing by with a loaded stem and do a quick session 'for the good of the battery'......... This is my suggestion...

It's covered in the BU page, it depends on charge level and temperature. At 2/3 or so charge and 'room temperature' you can expect most (say 90%) of original capacity many years down the road. I don't recommend (or personally use) anything but the factory battery. IMO it does a great job...

    Ascent Vaporizer by DaVinci

Sorry you're having trouble, at least it's not fatal. This has come up a time or two. IIRC the cause is pushing the oven body down (one fellow liked to use the oil jars as a ram rod.....). You might try pushing it up again, gently, through the bottom grill with a wooden toothpick? Otherwise...

    The Arizer Air

You're welcome. The general answer, if you want maximum battery life (and who doesn't??) is to 'overcharge' them the first time ONLY. Go at least 4 hours longer than 'full', but only the first charge. The first heavy discharge (like calling for heat) and this opportunity is past. This gives...

Your call, but you should protect the positive end of the battery in some way. Bridging the gap on top between the button and the jacket can 'make the sun come up in your pocket'. Scary huge energy available from these guys when fully charged. I've used vinyl caps (3/4 inch) before but...

In alone. I've got several grams of various strains I'm now (finally) using. They come out best warm as a 'not so sticky' mass. Higher grades (supermelts or nearly so) might be a leaking issue, but not so here, The SS cans stay pretty clean. Give it a go, it's working well for me. OF

Bummer about the lack of support, but I understand how that can take second place to being able to get it at a reasonable price, or even at all in some cases. You can try contacting the maker directly, but as we've discussed the only generally enforceable contract for warranty is with the guy...

There have been a couple of posts on how to partially strip it (one removing the oven and one prying the cover off the bottom, but AFAIK nobody has completely disassembled one and lived to tell about it. The LINX HYPNOS Wax Vaporizer

Fine, I trust you got the clarity you needed then? It's working fine, as those same units have on several similar oil pen type vapes, which seems to be the design goal for them, they also come with cheap 'skillets': https://www.fasttech.com/p/2806300 I think the advantage is at least as much...
